WhatsYourSign is a menu option that allows you to display cryptographic signature information about a file. Verifying a file’s cryptographic signature can help determine its origin or trustability and help to decide whether it should be trusted. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to see a file signature from the UI. That is why WhatsYourSign was invented.
