WebTorrent - A streaming torrent client for the web browser or the desktop

WebTorrent is written entirely in JavaScript, the language of the web. It uses WebRTC to peer-to-peer transfer whenever possible. WebTorrent is available in all browsers without the need for extensions, plugins or installation.

Why?

• Imagine a peer to peer YouTube where viewers host the site's content. We can make BitTorrent more accessible and encourage more people to join. This will help us take the first steps towards decentralizing the Internet.
