TagSpaces provides an open platform for personal data management. TagSpaces allows you to organize and manage the files on your local drive.

Cross-platform tagging for all files and folders

• You can organize your ebooks, photos, music, recipes, and invoices the same way on nearly every operating system. We support Android, Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and Mac OS.
• TagSpaces does NOT store the tags in a centralised manner, contrary to most file tagging software. The meta information added to TagSpaces is not vendor-locked. It is possible to sync it across devices using services such as Dropbox or Nextcloud because there is no database.
• TagSpaces supports basic file management operations. It can be used to tag files and folders.
• Tags make it easier to do your research and allow you to manage your personal projects and tasks.
