SmallShrink a Mac OS X program that extracts the main movie from a DVD and reauthors it so that it fits onto a single layer DVD-R of 4.7GB.
It was inspired by, but is not nearly as functional as, the legendary DVD Shrink app for Windows. With a little help from various Linux DVD9->DVD5 guides on the internet, it can be used.
This release provides an interface to a variety of open-source command line tools that do the extract, shrinking, and reauthoring.
This release is still experimental and I welcome your feedback. What DVDs does it work with, what doesn’t? What would make it more practical? If it isn't working for you, don't give up on it. I will continue to improve the functionality, reliability, and aesthetics of future versions.
