Infinity is an online multipoint conferencing platform that can be distributed and virtualized. It allows for video, voice, and data collaboration to be scaled across organizations. This allows everyone to participate in high-definition video, web, or audio conferencing. It can be deployed in an organisation's datacenter or in a public or private cloud like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, or in any combination thereof. It allows users to create their own virtual meeting rooms and virtual auditoriums. They can use these rooms to host conferences, share presentations, or chat. Participants can connect over audio or video from anywhere using virtually any communication tool (such as Microsoft Lync/ Skype for Business, a traditional conference endpoint, a mobile phone, or a PexipInfinity Connect client). This allows for seamless meetings. Virtual Auditoriums and Virtual Meeting Rooms can also be accessed via a Virtual Reception IVR service. This allows participants to dial one number to access Pexip Infinity and then use the DTMF tones to select the conference they wish to join. The platform also includes Pexip Distributed gateway service that allows end users to make calls to other endpoints using different media formats and protocols.
The complimentary PexipInfinity Connect suite of clients allows users to connect to any Virtual Meeting Room, Virtual Auditorium or Virtual Auditorium within the PexipInfinity deployment:
Infinity Connect users can connect with audio and video, and they can also control the conference, view presentations and share content. When used with the Pexip Distributed Gateway, Infinity Connect can also make direct calls to other devices and systems.
