About Permissions Reset For MAC

Permissions Reset attempts restore file permissions based upon file type, including nested objects.

PermissionsReset can reset the owner and group access permissions, Access Control Lists(ACLS), extended attributes (including Quarantine), owner and group access permissions to default settings. Simply drag an app, folder, or file into PermissionsReset, select what you want reset, then click on "Reset".

Permissions Reset uses the exact same permissions resetting engine that App Wrapper, our premium post-build processor. Permissions Reset is a prototype of our next-generation file system cartographer. This allows for faster scans of folders, apps, and files, while setting the appropriate permissions for each one.
