PDP-8/E simulator simulates the DEC PDP-8/E computer running on an Apple Mac. The simulated machine is a PDP-8/E minicomputer with 4K words and optionally a KM8E Memory Extension (with up 32K words) and a KE8E Extended Arithmetic Ellement. The simulator includes plugin modules that allow I/O devices to be implemented. These include plugins for an ASR 33 Console Teletype and an ASR 33 Auxiliary Teletype, as well as plugins for an ASR 33 Teletype and an ASR 33 Auxiliary Teletype. A KC8-EA Programmer’s Console plugin allows the user to operate (nearly), the simulator like a hardware PDP-8/E. This plugin includes single step execution at the memory cycle level.
