About OpenInTerminal For MAC

There are many ways to open a folder using Terminal or other emulators. However, none of them are as easy as most users would prefer. An alternative solution is required when speed and efficiency are important.

OpenInTerminal offers an alternative. You can now open a folder or file using a terminal app or code edit in four different ways: with a Finder extension or context menu, a shortcut menu, or simple hotkeys. For those who prefer something simpler, it is highly configurable.

You can open folders and files from a terminal app or code reader.

After installing the application, enable the Finder extension. After that, you will be able access the application from the context menu, Finder toolbar and menu bar.

Your preferred terminal app can be selected at launch. However, it can be configured later along with your code editor. There are many popular options supported, so it is unlikely that your favorite will not be.

To open a file or folder, or copy its path onto the clipboard, select it and use either the toolbar, the menu bar or context menu shortcuts. If there is nothing selected, the current folder will open. These functions can also be configured via hotkeys.
