About GUI Tar For MAC

GUITAR is a wrapper program that acts as the frontend to the 7za and tar, gzips, bzip2, u/compress, rar, zipped, bzip2, UNIX utilities. GUI Tar allows you to interact with these tools in a pleasant way. The operating system handles the complex work. GUI Tar is divided into two parts: Extractor and Comppressor.

GUI Tar Extractor allows you to extract files from archives. Extractor can open the following files:.7z.tar.tgz.tar.gz..dmg.gz..svgz.gz..tar.z..tar.Z..tar.Z..taz.tbz2,.bz2,.rar.

GUI Tar Compressor allows you to compress and/or archive files in.7z/.bz2,/.tar,/.tbz/.tgz/.gz or.zip formats. Instead of being limited to one location, archive files and folders from multiple locations.
