EasySIMBL for MAC

EasySIMBL a simplified version of SIMBL that is easier to use.

Modifications to original SIMBL

• OS X 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion
• Reads plugins from ~/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins only.
• Never reads plugins from /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins.
• Support sandboxed applications
• Login application to resume support
• Drag and drop install to /Applications//Applications folder. No uninstaller needed.
• Change injection method.
• Install plugins (.bundle), from Finder.

How to Install

• Download EasySIMBL
• Extract and move EasySIMBL.app to /Applications.
• Launch EasySIMBL.app, make sure to use SIMBL, and then quit EasySIMBL.app.

How to upgrade

• Trash old EasySIMBL.app
• Move the latest EasySIMBL.app into either /Applications, or /Applications.
• Launch EasySIMBL.app, make sure to use SIMBL, and then quit EasySIMBL.app.

How to uninstall

• Launch EasySIMBL.app, then clear the check Use SIMBL, then quit EasySIMBL.app.
• Move EasySIMBL.app to the Trash

Version 1.7.1:

• Change runningApplication observing codes.
• Now EasySIMBL has more stable code for detecting termination of sandboxed applications.
• I expect it will help plugin developers for debugging.
